Homelessness – Take a Hike!
For the last 29 years, The Connection at St Martin’s Annual Pilgrimage has helped raise money to help thousands of people recover from homelessness.
Hundreds of walkers take part; getting fit, reflecting on their lives and the lives of others, and of course helping the homeless community as they do!
This year is (of course) a little different – and we are excited to introduce our first ever Virtual Pilgrimage!
As this is our 30th anniversary, we invite you to join us in collectively walking 2,220 miles – the distance of 30 Pilgrimages.
How do I take part?
It’s easy!
You can walk on your own or in small groups wherever and whenever you like during the month of August. Your walks can be as long or as short as you like!
Once you’ve completed your walks, you just need to log your distance on Strava – or send us an email – to count towards the 2,220 miles!
What can I expect?
You’ll get regular updates on where we are on our Pilgrimage journey and how close we are to reaching our target – and don’t forget to share your journeys!
If you reach a fundraising target of £200, you will receive a 2020 Pilgrimage T-shirt.
You will also receive a certificate and an invitation to celebrate the Virtual Pilgrimage at the end of August – remotely of course!
