Tuesday 10 December saw our wonderful Friends of the Connection gather on the concourse of Charing Cross Station for a hugely enjoyable session of Carol Singing. Over the course of two hours, the group worked their way through a range of songs and carols from ‘Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer’ to ‘O Come All Ye Faithful’ to ‘Once in Royal David’s City’, in the process raising more than £800, all of which goes straight to the Connection at St Martin’s to support their work.
Passers-by joined in with the singing, whilst others stopped to take photos or to ask questions and discuss the current homelessness situation in London.
Thank you to everyone who gave so generously and thank you to all the singers!
